The IPOS Society is proud to mark a landmark decade of advancing intellectual property education, advocacy, and community in Singapore. What began as a shared passion among a small group of IP practitioners has grown into one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic professional societies.
Our 10th Anniversary Gala is a momentous evening to honour the achievements of our members, celebrate the friendships forged, and look ahead to the next decade of innovation. The evening will feature distinguished speakers, a curated dinner reception, and an opportunity to connect with Singapore's brightest minds in intellectual property.

Ticketing

By purchasing a ticket for, registering for, or attending the Event, the purchaser and ticket holder agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Organiser and Event Details: The organiser of the IPOS Society 10-Year Anniversary Celebration ("Event") is the IPOS Society ("Organiser"). The Event will be held on Saturday, 22 August 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Temasek Shophouse, 28 Orchard Road, Temasek Shophouse Level 3, Singapore 238832.
2. Ticket Purchase and Confirmation: All ticket purchases are final upon successful payment. An email confirmation will be sent to the registered email address upon successful payment. Please ensure your email address is correct at the time of booking. Each ticket admits one (1) person.
3. Ticket Pricing and Payment: Ticket prices are as advertised on the official event registration page. All prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase through the designated payment gateway.
4. Eligibility Requirements: The Friends of IPOS Society and IPOS Alumni ticket categories are subject to specific eligibility criteria. Friends of IPOS Society applies to registrants from Partnering Organisations, while IPOS Alumni applies to registrants who are former employees of IPOS. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any ticket purchase if it is subsequently found that the applicable eligibility requirements have not been met, even after payment has been made. In such cases, a refund for the ticket price will be processed.
5. Benefits: For tickets purchased under the "IPOS Alumni" category, the ticket includes a lifetime ordinary membership with the IPOS Society. If the eligibility criteria for the "IPOS Alumni" ticket category are not met, the Organiser reserves the right to reject or cancel the lifetime ordinary membership with the IPOS Society.
6. Refunds and Cancellations: All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except as expressly provided under the Eligibility Requirements clause or if IPOS Society cancels the event. If the event is cancelled by the IPOS Society due to unforeseen circumstances, all ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price paid. The IPOS Society shall not be liable for any other costs or expenses incurred by ticket holders in connection with the cancellation (e.g., travel, accommodation).
7. Transferability of Tickets: Tickets are strictly non-transferable. Any unauthorised transfers may result in the ticket being deemed invalid without refund.
8. Event Attendance: For the purposes of these Terms, Attendee means any person attending the Event, whether as a ticket purchaser, guest, Partnering Organisation, or invitee. All Attendees must present their e-ticket or confirmation email, together with a valid form of identification (such as an NRIC, passport, or business card), at the registration desk for admission. The organiser reserves the right to deny entry to any individual who is unable to produce a valid ticket and satisfactory identification.
9. Photography and Videography: By attending the event, you consent to being photographed and/or video recorded for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes by the IPOS Society.
10. Program Changes: The IPOS Society reserves the right to make changes to the event program, timings, or any other aspect of the event without prior notice. No refunds will be issued in the event of such changes.
11. Personal Data: By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data by the IPOS Society for the purposes of event registration, administration, communication, marketing, and matters relating to IPOS Society membership, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore. This may include sharing your personal data with third parties engaged by the IPOS Society to support the administration of the Event or the management of IPOS Society memberships, or where such disclosure is required or permitted by law.
12. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
